Lysa, Great story, sorry you got out of Zeppelins before I could get back to ya, I was meeting Margaret D there for a drink before our exciting night out at the local Senior Center for their annual Halloween party, it’s always fun they have a costume contest and the seniors look really cute. I know exactly how you feel about your son, I’m the same way with my sixteen year old (he’ll always be my baby).

The only one that can be counted on to love us unconditionally and to be faithful to us is God. The only one that can give us everything we need emotionally is God. He doesn’t have an agenda either, He just loves us and wants to take care of us. He will accept all of us but on His terms not ours. As far as men go, they are just imperfect human beings. Knowing that, our best choice as women is a Godly man. A Godly man will still be imperfect but his fleshly/selfish desires won’t be the motivating force in his life, Jesus will. If you want a prince you won’t find him in a bar or cheating on his wife or using people for his own personal agenda, no, he will be following The King.

Hey Lysa, glad you are back girl. Sure sounds like you got “your groove back” alright. I hate that you girls think all men are bad, we all arent like that but I hate to say I guess a good many of men are. I agree with you about these married men who think they can get away with anything. Sure makes you sit back and laugh when they get their asses caught, don’t it?? I guess ole Leroy or whatever his real name is got his, huh? I sure hope Charlotte can move on now with her life. Also, I don’t mean to sound like a know it all but I could swear by your tone that maybe you have had some recent heartbreak yourself. You girls up there maybe need to go out of town on the weekends or something as it doesn’t sound like there is much to choos from up there in Clayton Place.

I have been reading this blog for a while now and always thought that Clayton was actually a pretty nice little town. But, good Lord, what kind of politicians, police and now newspapers do you have up there???? I have to agree this “Police Blotter” mess is nothing short of trash reporting at it’s best. And for heavens sake if this newspaper is going to print these so called facts then why can’t they print a rebuttal in the Editorials for all of Clayton to see??? I think if I were in your shoes Irene I would be looking for me a good attorney. Good luck to you girl, sounds like as long as you live in ole Clayton Place you are going to need it.
